PETER TAYLOR

Peter Taylor, aged 25, is a current world champion rower and current Pinnacle athlete.

In August 2009 he teamed with Pinnacle graduate Storm Uru to win the Men's Lightweight Double Scull gold medal at the world rowing championship event in Poznan, Poland.

The pair had won the previous two World Cup events as well, after months of dedicated training following the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing . Theirs is a powerful combination: both are former World Under 23 Champions.

Originally from Wellington, Peter is a full time athlete based with the Rowing NZ high-performance academy at Lake Karapiro, Cambridge where he and Storm are coached by Peter Maher.
